Modular construction produces a building that is engineered and fabricated off-site, resulting in a quick stress free construction. This minimises skilled labour costs, extensive onsite project maintenance and unnecessary construction waste going to landfill.

What is modular building construction?

Modular building construction is undertaken off-site, under controlled factory conditions, that uses the same materials as conventional construction and engineered to meet all Australian building codes and standards but in half the time.

Modus Australia's modular toilet buildings

Modus Australia’s modular based floor-plan design establishes a blueprint for panel modules to be directly fixed to structural steel columns using a hidden fixing system. This allows toilet buildings from Modus Australia to be supplied as a complete flat-packed solution. All required panels, fixings, flashings and materials are supplied in kit-form which can be constructed by a locally tradesman. There have been cases where local communities have volunteered and constructed the toilet building under the guidance of a local builder.
