Old brick and concreate toilet building replaced by Yarra 5 Public Toilet Building with Service Area.

The Shire of Collie replaced an old brick and concrete non-compliant building with a Yarra 5 Public Toilet Building with Service Area. The decision to replace an existing toilet building was influenced by increasing maintenance costs, repairing leaks, structural defects and a build-up of grime.

Modus Australia’s Yarra 5 Public Toilet Building with Service Area presented a complete solution that complied with AS1428 Mobility and Access Standards and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Guidelines. The wide open veranda creates a safe environment around the restroom that can be viewed from the surrounding skate park, parklands and river pathways. Once the concrete pad was laid the Public Toilet Building was installed from the Kit-form flat-packed system which meant an easy and quick installation was achieved.
