Redbank Reserve

Modus delivered a custom Yarra-1.5 SA toilet building for Wollondilly Shire Council as part of the new Redbank Reserve playground and master plan upgrade. The compact two-cubicle layout pairs a universal access suite with an ambulant cubicle, plus an integrated rear service area for cleaning and asset maintenance, all under a contemporary skillion roof. The building was finished in Spotted Gum Wood-look Aluminium vertical fascia planking with Monument framing and off-white Colorbond doors, picking up the natural tones of the surrounding reserve. Electric strikes fitted to both cubicles allow Council to lock the doors to operating hours, reducing after-hours misuse and extending the asset's life. Heavy-duty marine grade stainless steel hardware, hot-dip galvanised structural steel and AS1428.1-compliant tactile signage deliver a low-maintenance public amenity built for years of community use.

Wollondilly's project team needed the amenity building delivered to a tight schedule to dovetail with the broader Redbank Reserve construction program. Modus engaged early through our Design Consultation process, helping Council clarify scope, configuration and finish specifications quickly so manufacture could kick off without back-and-forth delays. The result was a smooth process from initial brief through to a clean install by Council's own contractor.
