Frequently Asked Questions

How many cubicles does the Burton 1 have?
The Burton 1 contains a single Universal Access Toilet, self-contained and suitable for all users. It's the smallest building in the Burton range, Modus's classic gable-roof design.
What are the dimensions of the Burton 1?
The Burton 1 sits on a 2400mm x 2400mm footprint, compact enough for cemeteries, golf courses, walking trails, and small reserves.
What sites is the Burton 1 best suited for?
With its classic gable roof and traditional trim, the Burton 1 fits heritage precincts, cemeteries, golf courses, caravan parks, showgrounds, and campgrounds where a contemporary design would feel out of place.
Can the Burton include decorative verandah brackets?
Yes. The Burton is offered with or without decorative verandah brackets, letting you dial the traditional character up or down to match the surroundings.
How is the Burton 1 different from the Burton 2 and Burton 3?
The Burton 1 is the single-cubicle model. The Burton 2 doubles up with two Universal Access Toilets, while the Burton 3 packs three cubicles (one Universal Access plus two ambulant) into the same footprint as the Burton 2.
Can the Burton 1 be customised?
Yes. Cladding splits, colour schemes, wood-look aluminium, and auto-locking systems can all be specified, and larger changes are delivered through the Custom Burton.
Is the Burton 1 compliant with AS 1428.1 and the NCC?
Yes. The Universal Access Toilet is designed to AS 1428.1 and NCC standards from the outset. Read more about AS 1428.1 compliance.
What warranty does the Burton 1 come with?
A 20-year structural warranty, on a building engineered to a 50-year design life.
